Terms of use
Draft. Draft pending legal review. This text is provisional, has no legal validity yet and may change before launch.
1. Who we are and what you accept
Itzaria is an online role-playing game played in the browser. By creating an account or playing you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. [Legal name of the operator and contact details: to be defined.]
2. Your account
- You must give an email address that is yours and keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens with your account.
- An account is personal and not transferable. It cannot be sold, lent or bought.
- If you are a minor, you need the permission of a parent or guardian. [Minimum age: to be defined with legal advice.]
- We may ask you to confirm your email to use certain features.
3. Use of the service
- You agree to follow the game rules.
- You may not try to damage the service, access other people's data, overload it or bypass its security limits.
- Characters, items and gold are virtual elements inside the game. They have no value outside it and give no right to compensation.
4. Sanctions
We may warn, mute, kick or suspend accounts that break these terms or the rules, and decisions are logged. You can ask us to review a sanction by writing to us.
5. Content
The software, texts and graphics that belong to Itzaria are protected. What you write in chat or in character names must be yours or allowed, and you authorize us to display it inside the service. [Third-party attributions and licenses: to be defined.]
6. Purchases and premium
When purchases exist, they will be described before you pay, with their price and duration. Experience, skills, combat items and gold will never be sold. [Refunds, withdrawal rights and taxes: to be defined with legal advice.]
7. Availability and liability
The service is provided “as is”, may have interruptions and errors, and may change or close. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from the use of the service. [Limits of liability: to be defined with legal advice.]
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Important changes will be announced on the site. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
9. Governing law
[Governing law and jurisdiction: to be defined.]
